We can provide game shooting, both walked-up and driven, also clay shooting with expert tuition.

WALKED-UP SHOOTING

On the local hills around Bampton providing pheasant, rabbit and woodcock, with the views of deer and buzzard an added bonus, day to include lunch.

GAME SHOOTING (Driven)

On local estates with bags ranging from 50 - 300 birds.

CLAY SHOOTING

Sporting clays with or without instruction for 8 - 10 guns. Day to include lunch

Fishing

Salmon and trout fishing on one of the most delightful stretches of the River Exe. We have approximately one mile of the River Exe situated about half a mile above Oakfordbridge, with many pools and runs culminating with a weir.

The beat provides excellent sport with both salmon and good sized brown trout being taken. We are also within easy reach of Wimbleball and Clatworthy lakes.

Fishing on the River Exe:

Salmon from £25 per rod, per day

Trout £15 per rod, per day

Trout fishing is available all year
round at local fisheries

Riding

Riding on nearby Exmoor can be arranged for day rides or by the hour. Exmoor provides a really beautiful area on which to ride and this is the best way to view the moor.

We also organise a point-to-point weekend (in season) with a visit to one of the local meetings, with a real Devonshire picnic.
